The calibre of delegates across our customer base was useful and we did gain a few leads and new contacts. FIMA has always tended to be more sell side focused and while that may not be our primary market it did open up some ideas about doing an ESG mastering sprint inside some of the largest institutions in financial services. It was clear to us that they do not have the problem solved.
For the first event we did in person it was a great step into the market. Our competitors were not there which for us is an advantage.
We should always have some sort of presence at FIMA. For some of our competitors in the EDM/Data Management space it may be less important but as we continue to develop our message and proposition it is important that we are being deliberate about what we do…we are not just benchmarks.
We’d like to participate next year and would like to make sure we have a thought leadership spot or some sort of active role again.
