Matt Shaw

With over 18 years experience in banking and consultancy, Matt Shaw has extensive hands-on experience in program and project management as well as enterprise data including governance, design, testing and controls and migration. He is the Head of Synechron London’s Data and Analytics Practice with a focus on data content, quality, usage and analytics in banking processes. Matt is highly experienced with the people, operational, technology and control aspects of business change and offers industry and regulatory awareness, business domain knowledge, and delivery best-practice in order to address current and changing needs in demanding and dynamic environments.

Matt is a seasoned banking professional who, prior to Synechron, worked in key roles at Crossbridge (later acquired by Synechron in 2016), Standard Bank, UBS and Detica. He received his BSc (Hons.) & ARCS in Physics at the Imperial College of Science, Technology & Medicine, in London. Matt also has a MSc in Software Development from the University of Huddersfield.
