Vahe Andonians

Vahe Andonians is the co-founder of Cognaize, a company that uses deep learning to create actionable intelligence from unstructured documents. Additionally, he is a partner, along with Moody's Analytics, at Traidum—an organization currently building a blockchain-based negotiation platform for trading Structured Credit products.

Vahe developed SCDM—an AI-based analytics start-up specializing in the fixed income market which was later sold to Deloitte. Having started as a data provider for investors in structured credit in 2003, SCDM broadened its services from data management to bespoke IT solutions for reporting, to business intelligence and cash flow simulations for investors in structured credit.

Early in 2017, SCDM sold its structured credit business to Moody's Analytics and focused on its valuation business—valuing over 40,000 financial instruments daily.

Following his work developing a Statistical Equity Arbitrage Hedge Fund for Erstebank in Austria, Vahe founded, operated, and sold start-ups primarily based in Machine Learning.

Vahe Andonians is a serial entrepreneur and senior lecturer at the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management. He studied information and high-frequency technology at the Federal Higher Technical Institute for Education and Experimentation in Modeling in Austria and holds an MBA from the University of Liverpool, England.
