Sian is the Head of Enterprise Data Governance at Nationwide Building Society, responsible for the value driven advance of data management practices enterprise wide. Prior to joining Nationwide Sian headed up the Business Data Modelling & Metadata function at Lloyds Banking Group and was a founding member in establishing the inaugural Chief Data Office function for the Group. Across her career to date, Sian has held a wide variety of data management & analytics roles throughout the financial services sector, including globally facing roles at JP Morgan Chase and Standard & Poor’s. Sian is passionate about turning data management from being seen as regulatory driven to a core enabler for business simplification, innovation and decision making.
