Peter Eckley

Peter is Head of Data and Analytics Strategy Division at the Bank of England. Previous roles at the Bank include Deputy CDO, and as a Senior Economist working on prudential regulation policy and economic and financial research, with a focus on applied econometrics and use of news-media text data in economic measurement. Earlier in his career Peter was a strategy and policy consultant to telecoms companies and regulators, working on most continents. He holds an MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford, and an MSci in Physics from the University of Cambridge.
