Frederic Messein

Frédéric Messein is Head Product Proposition Management at SIX Financial Information and has been with SIX Group since 2015. In this role, he oversees all Product Propositions and associated Commercial Policies & Pricing. In particular, he manages SIX Regulatory, Tax and Compliance Platform and Services, SIX Sanctions service, Partners choice, Product and Data strategy and M&A activities for new propositions. Prior to SIX Financial Information, Frédéric was member of the SIX Swiss Exchange management committee.

Frédéric Messein has more than twenty five years of experience in the global financial market industry. Out of which he worked more than 20 years at Thomson Reuters in different roles, such as Global Head of Product & Content Management for Fixed Income and FX, prior to that as Head of Sales and Trading Products, Europe and Global Head for Premium Desktop Products. In 1999, he took over Marvin SA, a Paris, NYC and London based Financial Software company from the founders as CEO. He subsequently led the company’s successful integration into the Reuters Group.
