Florent Garcin

Florent Garcin is the Head of Data at Pictet Asset Management. He joined Pictet in 2016 as Head of Data Science to create the data science practice with a focus on helping investment teams make better informed decisions. In 2020, he took a broader role to define the vision and roadmap of the data initiatives with the mission to ensure data is a strategic asset of added-value to the business. Prior to joining Pictet Asset Management, he was the co-founder of a startup providing artificial intelligence solutions to the media industry. He holds a PhD in Artificial Intelligence from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Lausanne (EPFL).
