David Lindop

David leads EY’s Data and Analytics practice for Financial Services in the UK.

Throughout his career, he has worked across the boundary between business and technology and he specializes in data enabled business transformation. He has led global transformation projects across many industries including Financial Services, Media, Telecoms and Retail.  

He has a particular interest in the people side of technology transformation and the changes required in culture, skills and operating model to fully unlock the benefits of innovation and is currently leading a research project on the changing role of the Chief Data Officer.

Outside the technology sphere, David’s other passions include music, martial arts and scuba diving
