Daniel is working as Lead Data Architect in the European Central Bank and is responsible for the data architecture portfolio. Daniel launched his career with an IT consultancy startup 25 years ago, and before joining the ECB in 2019, Daniel was working in the European Commission and the private sector as Business Architect, IT Architect and Project Manager.

Exciting times for data architecture! Daniel is an innovation enthusiast and metadata evangelist.
Data mesh and data fabric have become widely discussed architectural approaches, but many organisations are still struggling to translate these concepts into practical, scalable solutions. Questions around ownership, platform capabilities and operating models remain key barriers to success.
This panel will explore how organisations are making these architectures work in reality.
