Christophe Tummers has been Societe Generale's Group Chief Data Officer since April 1, 2024, overseeing the Group's data and AI office and support its business, innovation, and regulatory compliance agenda.

With now 3 decades of experience across data, technology and operations, Christophe previously spent most of his career at UBS AG where he served as a Managing Director and held several senior leadership positions, including Group Chief Data Officer and Chief Data Officer for ESG.

At UBS AG, he established the Group CDO function and the Group Data Management Office, leading major initiatives to strengthen data architecture, governance, and quality across the organization.

He holds a degree in computer engineering and has lived and worked in New York, Zurich, Singapore and London.
