A Finance Professional by trade, I have now been at Santander since 2001, and have been working in data roles since 2005. Having spent 9 years graduating through the school of Data Operations, implementing and controlling data migration activity as Santander integrated Abbey, Bradford and Bingley, and Alliance and Leicester into its core platforms, and building out a data operations function I became the Santander UK CDO in 2014. Our CDO team focusses on Understanding and Managing Data, with the purpose of making it Exploitable for the organisation.
